- Botanical name: Lavandula angustifolia var. maillette
- Method of extraction: steam distillation of flowering tops
- Ingredients: linalool, linalyl acetate
Maillette lavender is considered one of the highest quality clonal lavenders on the market. It has milder characteristics than other clonal lavenders due to its higher linalyl acetate content. It is exclusively produced in France with an overall production of approximately 15 tons. SCA3P produces 3 tons.
It is used mainly by the perfume industry and marginally by the aromatherapy industry.
